Ha, this is one feeling I know all too well. I'm always flirty. My friends are mostly guys, so I know exactly how to behave when it comes to men, and a little harmless flirtation can go a long way.
Yes, I'm the kind of girl who would flirt to get a free upsize on my coffee, be allowed to sit in the smoking lounge without buying anything, get a random stranger to carry my luggage when I'm traveling and basically just to get everything done quickly. The men used to love me when I was still working in an office, and I would always have someone to go out and buy me a pack of cigarette at all hours of the day and night (I did a lot of overtime), get a cab in the middle of the night, do a shitload of photocopying and printing, etc, etc, etc. Men are too easy; if you know how to handle them, you can pretty much get them to do anything you want. And yes, I do abuse that "power", much to the chagrin of my lovely boyfriend ;p
But seriously, if you want to get men to be eating out of the palm of your hands, then you gotta use your feminine power instead of being all manly. You don't have to pretend to be weak or dumb, you can still be strong and intelligent without being intimidating. Flirt a little. Giving them a smile and some compliments can go a long way. ;p
This is what I wear when I'm feeling flirty, a mini dress with high heels, and a cute headband - I feel flirty already! I don't wear fur (it's too hot!) but I just feel like using that fabulous fur jacket here.
Thanks for another great challenge, Natural Born Styler!
Beeing that flirty is a super hero skill to me. I know that I am considered flirty sometimes but I am not trying to. I am not aware of it. Sometimes I wish I had the skill of controling it. So, I do envy you and your outfit is enviable. Love love love it!
Oh man, this week's challenge is hard! You girls really know how to step it up, don't you? I thought now that I'm no longer in charge of the group I'm going to have it easy but no, it's getting even harder by the week ;p You truly are geniuses! All of you!
I do not own a poncho, but my mom does. She bought one when she had to go to Europe in 2006, and instead of wearing it while she was in Europe, she actually wore it on the plane. As you know, the air-conditioners on the plane can be really cold, especially if you're flying at night. So she wore her poncho, and used it as a blanket - and she could actually sleep soundly on the plane, to the envy of the woman sitting next to her who couldn't sleep because she was freezing her ass off ;p
So unless you're going to do what my mom did, I don't see any other way of wearing the poncho. Trust me, it doesn't look flattering on anyone. That being said, my looks for the ponchos are inspired by my mom's plane trip. Make sure you wear something fabulous underneath so when you disembark, you can just take off the poncho and not look like Betty did in the pilot episode of Ugly Betty.
Thanks for another great challenge, Vrhino, and congratulations for winning last week's challenge!
Okay, I am cracking up at your mom!! She had it going on didn't she!!
I do not own a poncho either, I cannot figure out how to style it!! You have got it figured out here, this is fab!!! I will take both looks!!!!!
This tote is interesting. I do like Vivienne Westwood's designs, they're always so fun and punk-ish, it's almost like you feel young forever when you're wearing her designs.
For this challenge, I decided to create a look that is for the young at heart - something fun and a little offbeat for those who like to have fun with fashion. I think Vivienne Westwood knows how to not take fashion too seriously, and that's what I love most about her.
And I really do love those Lanvin sneakers, I'm seriously thinking of saving up to buy a pair. I love sneakers, they're always so comfortable to walk around in, and I think they're a good investment for those who prefer comfort above all else.
Anyway, thanks Badrouchka for another fun challenge! I always enjoy styling the items you present to us!
I LOOOOOOOVVVVVEEEEEE this bag!!! Please please please, I need to find a way to have it!! I love what you did with this look!!! Adorable and chic!!! Perfect look to compliment this incredible bag!!!
I am in need of new glasses and these are great. Have to find a place where I can try them on. Love the sneakers and the bag too. A fun and stylish look. I really enjoy the fact that you´ll never know what you´ll come up with. Allways innovative.
Ah, I love this dress. It's so me. First, it's nude - and I love nude, the color is just so soothing and perfect for the extremely hot weather here, not to mention it looks good on my skin tone. Second, it's kinda cutesy but a little quirky, with the pocket and the bow, which of course I love and third, it's Fendi. Need I say more? ;p
I think just about anyone can pull this dress off, but again it really depends on your personality. I think some people won't be able to pull this off not because it doesn't look good on them, but more because the style doesn't really fit their personality. Luckily for me, it does fit my personality. Unluckily for me, it's kinda a lot of money to spend on a dress. ;p
Anyway, for this challenge, I decided to do a flirty, quirky but a little edgy look for fall. The dress is pretty short so pairing it with over-the-knee boots would be perfect. The leather jacket will toughen up the look a little but I keep the accessories flirty and quirky to give it a balance between sweet and tough.
This is such a fun challenge. Thanks Vrhino for continuing to give us amazing challenges in this group!
