They're rugged and sexy, so I wanted to keep the rest of my look soft and feminine. If you work in a creative field you can definitely pull this look off for work and/or to go hang out in after work for drinks.

I can see this look on Alexa Chung. I only seen her a few times on MTV and although she's supposed to be an It girl I think she's somewhat boring. But I do love her fashion sense...LOL!

To me joy is an emotion we’re all capable of feeling. Instead of dwelling on what you don’t have, open up your eyes to the beautiful things that are within your reach.

Definitely, we’ll experience downs in our journey through life but that's what makes you appreciate the little things in the first place.

A child’s smile gives me joy, and so does putting looks together on SS, as well as shopping, kisses, bright colors and sweets. These are simple things but they put the biggest smile on my face and in the end that’s all that matters.

So I went to a party this weekend, where we had to wear all black. It was pretty cool and I had a great time. But on my way out I ran into my ex, who is not just an ex but THE ex.

We were that annoyingly happy couple and yet somehow it didn't work out.

Anywho, I must say he was looking really really good:-). We haven't seen each other in 3 years but I could still feel the connection there.

We talked for while and exchanged numbers. I'm not sure if he will ever call or if I will but it was nice to see him again and catch up.

These Giuseppe Zanotti booties remind me of an abstract painting. I love the mix of colors on these, so I went for an chic artsy fartsy look for these shoes.

Sidebar- I love saying artsy farsty as well...I think I got that from the movie Drop Dead Fred..LOL!!!

I haven't put together a look for Taylor yet, but ever since the whole fiasco with Kanye at the VMA's I wanted to put a look together for her. I only know a few of her songs and the ones I do know I like. Plus I think she's very beautiful and has a very big career ahead of her.
