Hi girls! I just got word that my book "Love/Fool: An Observation Of Love In The City" has been chosen by Amazon.com to be included in their worldwide listing. This means everyone in the world now has access to my book, which of course makes me so excited! It's only been a few months since I first launched my book in Lulu.com - so this achievement means so much to me! And I know I couldn't have done it without the support and love from all you girls!
So, to celebrate and to show my appreciation to you, I am throwing a party, aptly titled: "Amazon Adventure". Come in your fabulous Amazon goddess outfit and let's enjoy the exotic cocktail, champagne and cake by the pool side! There will be loads of goodie bags for all of you, so make sure you come!
Once again, thank you for all your support... and I'll see you in the party!
Binky, that incredible!!! I never knew you was a writer, although... I can't say i'm surprised, you have such a way with words ;) I am so happy for you, you derserve endless success, and I will be sure to get my copy! See you at your fabulous party honey!!
God, I love this song! I would blast Elton John on my iPod and sang along (loudly) to this song... even though I get the lyrics all wrong. For instance, I'd sing: "She's got electric boobs" instead of "boots". And even though now I know it's boots, I still prefer "boobs", it just sounds more interesting ;p
My interpretation of this song is a glammed-up karaoke look. I've always wanted to throw an elaborate, glamorous karaoke party where everyone has to dress up like they're going on stage to perform. In this imaginary karaoke party, I'll be wearing this fabulous Christopher Kane dress while I'm belting out "Benny and The Jets" to my heart's content. And yes, it's "electric boobs". ;p
This challenge is so much fun, thanks HarperLeo! Sing it with me now:
haha ''electric boobs''!! so funny ! i love and adore this look ! the christopher kane dress is unbearably chic and with the shoes this look is a knockout ! fabulous
I am not a big fan of fishnet or mesh but I have to admit, these sandals are pretty cool. I don't know if they'll look good on my feet but still, they're cool.
So, assuming that I can afford these sandals and can walk in them too, this is how I'd wear them. I call this look "The New York power player" - I think some fabulous New Yorker can totally rock this look for work.
This is another fun challenge, so thanks Natural Born Styler!
wow .......i mean really wow !! this is so chic ! gorgeous pieces !! im in awe as usual ;) there is no self-respecting chic new york woman that would not die over this look!
I know this seems like a cop out, but the only color I can wear from head-to-toe is black. I love dressing in all black, even though people say it's a little too funeral-y. But black makes everything elegant and classy, and almost everyone can rock the all-black look.
I think the most important thing when wearing all black is to make sure the pieces you chose are interesting. For this challenge, I chose this Lanvin t-shirt dress, because it has all the little details that make this dress more than just another LBD. You can wear this look to dinner, a cocktail party or even to work (all you need is just a black blazer). And what's great about this combo, you can take it from day to night just by putting on or taking off the blazer.
I doubt any other color could look this good head-to-toe (or maybe I just can't rock it as good ;p). This is another interesting challenge, so thanks Jouel!
Hi I'm new here. A friend of mine said to check your stylebook. I totally agree. Black pieces have to have something interesting in them. Black is the only Black.
It would be freaky to live in a world created by Disney (not to be confused with Disney World ;p) - as if real people aren't bad enough, they have to make inanimate objects... well, animate! Imagine how freaky it is when you wake up in the morning and your bed talks to you. Or, in the case of Babette the feather duster, how freaky would it be if our feather duster talks to us. I think my maid would have a heart attack ;p
Anyway, obviously I'm over-thinking it. But Disney sometimes freak me out, go figure ;p Anyway, I'm a little late with this challenge but here it is. My Babette-the-feather-duster inspired look.
