Sperry Women's Boots

Paul A. Sperry came from a family with a long seafaring tradition. He founded his company in 1935 having slipped and fallen overboard during a sailing trip on the Long Island Sound after which he vowed to create a non-slip shoe. It was his dogs paws that inspired him to carve grooves in to rubber soles, and as a result the world's first boat shoe was born. Sperry’s range of women’s footwear still includes those iconic styles, plus a range of fashion boots including lace-up boots, classic duck booties and waterproof rain boots.
