Alessi Oui Napkin Ring by LPWK, Andrea Incontri Features: Dimensions: Overall: 2.25" W About the Designers Andrea Incontri Andrea Incontri graduated in Architecture in 1971 and his experience embraces both design and research. Andrea Incontri's point of view does not create specific categories, but aesthetic visions which can be measured through the sensitive identity of personal experience. His experience as a researcher PremiΦre Vision for fabrics, designer Fratelli Rossetti, AI, ADD, Pontoglio 1883, Samsung and teacher Henkel, Wella, L'OrΘal, Nivea, Milan Polytechnic and the European Institute of Design has helped him acquire a special language that focuses on social custom and attitudes towards the space occupied by objects, whether they are handcrafted or industrial products. Since 2008 he has been working with Laura Polinoro for Alessi on developing new types of product. LPWK Italy Born in Bergamo, Italy, Laura Polinoro graduated in Drama Art and Music Studies in Bologna. Her first job was in the field of contemporary dance as art director and costume and set designer. Later she undertook research at the Domus Academy in Milan. From 1990 to 1998 she was in charge of the Centro Studi Alessi, where she operated as meta-project designer and art director, coordinating workshops both in-house and in association with various universities and design institutes the world over. She was also involved in publishing and communications activities. Items which entered production in that period are identified with the acronym ôCSAö.
