About Castelli: Castelli has a rich history dating back multiple decades in the cycling community. In the 1940s, Armando Castelli, an Italian tailor, designed clothes for Gino Bartali, a famed cyclist. Designing clothes for Gino Bartali proved to be the catalyst for Armando Castelli's career. As a result of designing for a famous cyclist, one of Bartali's cycling rivals, Fausto Coppi, asked Armando Castelli to design a jersey that would make him faster in competitions.
