“The Fall/Winter 2013 Tibi Collection is all about texture – I did not want to only offer one type of finish,” Choi says. “I’ve always worked with high shine and working with a matte finish has added different dimensions to the line. The Matte Maker, when paired with the collection’s colors, provided the functional elegance that we were trying to achieve with this collection.” For Fall/Winter 2013, famed nail artist Jin Soon Choi collaborated with women's wear designer Amy Smilovic of Tibi to create a collection that represents a polished and utilitarian look. Consisting of five revolutionary shimmering shades and a matte topcoat, the Tibi Collection was inspired by the idea of layering while keeping to the urban edginess of Smilovic's designs.
