LEMLEM Kaftans. The brand Lemlem was founded in 2007 by Liya Kebede, an accomplished designer, supermodel and actress. She started this brand as a way to inspire economic independence in her native country and to preserve the art of weaving. All the products are handmade from natural cotton in Ethiopia. They work with traditional artisans to produce hand-woven shawls in white cotton with ethnic-influenced embroidery. Made in Ethiopia. 95% Cotton, 5% Acrylic
