I haven't been to D.C. in years, but I associate it with politics and law. So my outfits will likely be along those lines.

Just moved to the area after living in the South all my life. So needless to say my wardrobe is getting an overhaul. Hope my new looks fit in!

Aw thank you Zaryn. It is an incredibly big change. Can you believe I don't even own a coat? I have to buy one now with this weather change. I definitely am enjoying the chance to change up my wardrobe a bit. BTW, I love your looks!

thanks keke!! your style is great too:) have u found a comfie winter coat yet? seems like the cool season is starting!...one tip for dealing with colder temps: think layers!! i.e., not just a coat, but several pieces you can add for warmth and then remove indoors...also, invest in scarves, gloves, hats, earmuffs, etc. when ur coming from the south all that seems cumbersome, but make it a habit and you'll be nice & toasty warm. ...btw, i recommend the outlet mall in Leesburg, VA...it's the best one i've been to, and a fave spot for finding good deals.

Thanks for the advice. I did find an awesome wool coat at H&M for $100. It is so cute - grey and tailored perfectly to accentuate an hourglass figure. It is also perfectly warm. I am in love with it. I will definitely check out the outlet mall for more stuff.

It's not boaring, yet it's not New York.

i live in d.c and our style is very unique we wear alot of color and its like you step in to the 80's when your there.
