speaking for myself i love the outnet for not only bringing spot on trends to the less than wealthy but for also subtly rebelling against those who believe if it's not in this season it should'nt be seen at...

Me too! I logged in as soon as I received the e-mail and lke Erin spent three hours trying to log in, once in, select an item, and once successfully selected, added it to my bag and tried to check out countless times. Despite being assured that the site would remember my payment details (I have purchased items previously) I had to put the details in all over again. I also tried their telephone helpline which was either continually engaged or unobtainable. Very, very poor and a complete waste of time.

I'm not normally online as early as the sale started but coincidentally was this morning - but to no avail - I battled with it the site until about 9.15 but kept getting errors! Ended up with nothing! Couldn't even get anything as far as the basket without it all freezing up!

The same thing happened to me girls. Clicked through as soon as I received my link, and continual freezing. I knew it would be busy, but so busy the site crashes? I'm very disappointed...

It is disappointing. I didnt't expect necessarily to bag a bargain, but I did expect to be able to access the site, and not just spend three hours being continually thrown out of the site/page/checkout etc! It's so counter productive for theOutnet.

This sale was such a complete and utter fail!!! First of all - the link in the email didn't take you directly to the sale page. Instead you had to start travelling from page to page and with the site crashing completely this just didn't work. This sale reeks of a publicity stunt instead of being aimed at customer service. Very disappointing. I used to love the outnet but I will not be returning to shop there anytime soon.
It's hugely disappointing when you browse through the sale pages and you see everything Sold Out - but it's even worse when you can't even access the site and you just sit there fantasizing on all the things you're missing out on!!
The Outnet definitely owes a huge apology to everyone who RSVP'd but wasn't let in the door!
