One removable safety side support is included for the top bunk with mounting slots on both the left and right sides. Bunk beds also come apart to make two matching twin beds. Roll out trundle bed and trundle mattress (70"W x 37 1/2"D x 6"H) can also be purchased as options. As an added design choose headboard and footboard cut outs of your choice and the post finials.
