- The Vendome brand began as the Coro, Cohen & Rosenberger brand in the 1900's in Providence, Rhode Island. This brand made jewelry from about 1920 until the 1970's, and Vendome was just one of the names of the brand from 1944-1979. Vendome was one of the better and higher priced lines, best known for glittering faceted glass bead necklaces.
