Our designers layered nude and then sheer ivory satin...moreThis breathtaking bridal gown was inspired by a vintage Victorian dress we discovered at a flea market in Paris. Our designers layered nude and then sheer ivory satin enswathed by lengths of smooth, ultra-fine tulle and topped it off with magnificent spotted French tulle (known as point d'esprit). (The tulle? It's all from Sophie Halette, the renowned lacemaker whose tulles and laces are used by the world's premier fashion houses.) We love how the nude sheath lends a subtle, sultry warmth under the tulle, the lovely shirring and pleating detail at the bodice and the tulle piecing along the ball skirt (known as godets), which lend the perfect touch of drama and volume. Features an interior corset in supremely slimming power mesh and silk satin-covered boning around the entire bodice and cups to maintain the impeccable shape and a comfortable, secure fit.
