This jean...moreThe epitome of classic vintage style, the1937 501® is one of the last authentic workwear jeans produced before material rationing started during World War II. This jean marked the debut of hidden rivets (due to customer complaints of scratched saddles), as well as the single-needle arcuate and, most famously, the red tab and leather patch. The Barren Land finish is hard worn and minimally washed with faded abrasions against its deep indigo color that create contrast. Button fly. Traditional five-pocket styling (detailed with a selvedge edge on the inside of the coin pocket and a buckle-back waistband). USA. We suggest washing these jeans inside out, in cold water and with a mild detergent. Please keep in mind that because these jeans are indigo-dyed, it is natural to expect some color transfer from the jeans onto any lighter-colored items. Part of the Levi's® Vintage Collection.
