You can see the Eames influence in the graceful molding of the wooden seat. The frame is strong but delicate-looking steel tubing in chrome. The stool comes in high or medium heights. When the Lyra Stool was first introduced in 1994, it didn't make much of a splash. No big awards, no museums clamoring to add it to their permanent collections.
