One may live without bread, not without roses, French novelist Jean Richepin once declared. To each their own interpretation, but we speculate Richepin is alluding to the importance of love. So keep that in mind when you fall for this sweet Ryu dress. If its long, tuliped overlay, fluttery sleeves, and rosette-frilled neckline make you weak at the knees, embrace it, perhaps by wearing the object of your affection with bow-adorned heels and sparkling earrings, or by trying it on with a belted cardi, wooden bangles, and strappy sandals. Because, if Richepin is to be believed, it's little rays of love like the emotions conjured up by this dress that, no matter how trivial, make the days wonderful.

I love the dress itself, and I am very happy to have bought it. However, I thought it was going be a bit longer from what I could see from the pictures of it.

Other reviewers said size up and while the small would have maybe been snug on my chest, the medium was a little roomie. Not too much but of you're usually in between sizes, the smaller size could work for you here. I kept the medium as I ordered this for a nautical themed event and didn't have time to exchange. It's very cute fit and flare with a fuller skirt. The material is also stretchy and shiny which I wasn't expecting so I can't say it's perfect as that makes it look a bit cheap.

The dress was WAY too short, a bummer because I wanted to have it as a bridesmaid dress. Definitely for a petite person, does not have much structure to it.

this dress was much shorter than i expected. i still wore it just be careful how high the shoes you wear with it are and how you sit. lol

Always good to consider when they say if it runs small and I ended up with choosing the right size. To be honest it is a perfect short, cute, fun dress. Not long but I don't really mind that. Please just make sure you understand when they say "Runs Small" and know your body.
