Very DisappointedI was excited to use this for the first time on Thanksgiving-followed the instructions and it worked for about 3 minutes. Then the alarm went off and I was unable to reset it. I tried turning it off and back on, replaced the batteries- didn't know what else to do and there was no troubleshooting info in the instructions. At this price point I expected better.

Great Product for cooks!This is my second one. It's easy to use and to see and the temps are accurate. No more over cooked meat for me (or undercooked poultry)! I even use it on the grill and smoker.

Don't waste your moneyI should have read more reviews on this digital thermometer and I probably wouldn't have bought it. It stopped working midway through its maiden voyage. I was cooking steaks, it got up to 115 degrees, and then it wigged out and all the screen would display (no matter what i pressed, took the batteries out, turned it off and on) was" ----------MAX" or "---------MIN". So I have returned it, hopefully that credit will be reflected soon, I did not want to replace it with another after reading so many other people had the same problem. I really have liked All-Clad products in the past and was very disappointed,.

Meat Thermometer "a must"Thermometer is a replacement unit as the original nylon cover on the probe wire split. This did not inhibit the great performance of the thermometer. Easy to program / set / use. I recommend careful observation of the temperature guides, as 128 degrees for Roast Beef is perfect. for some med, some rare cuts. remember the meat continues to cook after meat is removed from oven. You can always cook it more later. The unit should have come with a better plastic box for storage / with a place to wind the probe wire around.
