Edgy glamourReally like the print and the length - hits me just below the knee (size 4R). The gold stitching looks nice & I can really dress it up or go a little more casual. Wish it had a nicer, more finished waist & I had to try on at least 10 of the same size in order to find one that didn't bulge just below the waist at the hips.

Awkward bulges at hipsI agree with another recent review that noted the awkward fit of this skirt. I loved this skirt online and thought it would be my holiday party skirt for the season, but after trying it on in the store today, I was convinced otherwise. Rather than the nice sleek fit that I expect of a pencil skirt, the fabric of this skirt bulged slightly at the top of the hips. Awkward and unflattering. Too bad b/c the fabric is beautiful. Also, FYI, it's cut a little large, so if you do decide to order this skirt online, I'd suggest going down a size.

Awkward fitThis skirt is beautiful; unfortunately, it didn't fit me at all. AT pencil skirts usually fit me very well but this was tight/loose in all the wrong places - maybe because it has no stretch to it?? Sadly, it had to go back and my search for the perfect holiday outfit continues.
NOLAShopaholic - Review from Ann Taylor
Wanted to Love...The fabrication is beautiful, with absolutely no give in the fabric. I normally wear a 4, 6 or 6p and I couldn't even fit into an 8p.

damagedThis skirt is beautiful but when you pay that much for something you expect the quality to be great. This skirt is poorly constructed with strings hanging down on the hem line and the zipper was broken after the first time I wore it! NOT HAPPY ANN TAYLOR!
