Is small and shortI got this in a 2, and it fits but is a little tight and not pencil length. It looks nice still on me, but I'm 5'2" so YMMV. The red print is lovely and vibrant. The fabric feels rich and luxurious. The two buttons don't work and are merely decorative. It also isn't pencil-like in the sense that you can take normal steps and no back slit. More an A-line fit.

Too short, too tight, cannot sit down in itI went nuts when I saw the multi-colored version of this skirt……For reference I am 5'3" and 135 lbs and I tried on the 10. It was short and tight so I hemmed and hawed until I decided the final test would be to sit down and see if i even could………COULD NOT and the short skirt rode up even higher…and for that reason decided it was not professional enough for work. I would have tried the size 12, but they ran out……it is going to be the one that got away……..

Something off about it.....Although I absolutely love the brown motif version there is something off about the design of the skirt. I definitely had to go up at least one size as there is absolutely no give in this material. Also i do not think that the buttons and broad waistband on the brown motif does the design any favours. You also have to be aware that the vertical line design can be a little dangerous if you are not a slender shape.HOWEVER, having said all that I am still keeping the skirt as it is really cute. I can see myself wearing it with all brown tights, boots and jumper, but also with all navy tights, boots and jumper - the skirt will look good with both as well as a plain dark T, flats and denim jacket in the spring....so a very versatile skirt which can be worn at work and casually.Im 5'3" and it came to a couple of inches above my knee, so not sure how it would look on taller girls.....At the sale price I think it was a bit of a bargain as I'll get a lot of wear out of it and because it is slightly different it wont really go out of fashion - just always look different!

Cute skirt for fallI really like the brown motif print of this skirt, and noticed it on the website when it was paired with the black jacket and denim/chambray shirt. I am petite and typically will order the petite sizes online. I saw this skirt at the store, and noticed that it is pretty short. When I tried it on, it just barely came to my knees, but I decided to get it anyway, as I really like the print. The buttons on the waistband are nonfunctional. I really like the colors in this skirt, and just noticed that there is now a blue motif (just saw it online). Such a cute skirt for fall!

Too TightI ordered this skirt in size 8 & 10 - I am 5'8, 160 pounds. Both skirts were too tight. I love the quality of the skirt though, it is a thick material, well made skirt, just too snug!
