Gorgeous, unique, Swan Princess-esque.Love this skirt! I waited until the first cut to purchase. The material is not too thick, but it is very comfortable non-scratchy wool. I am really a fan of "wearable art", and this definitely satisfies my taste. The swan looks painted, and it is true, not all swans are the same. I compared three and picked the one I personally liked best. This skirt definitely runs a little large--I currently wear a Size 12 (34" waist, 40" hips, 5'9") in skirts and I sized down to the Medium, and I'm still comfortably able to tuck a shirt in.If you don't LOVE this skirt, try to wait for the next cut. But I loved it too much to risk not getting the appropriate size.

Sumptuous SkirtAn absolutely beautiful statement piece! This skirt exudes class with its flattering fit and quality. The wool is structured, skims over the hips, and sumptuous! The swan motif adds a quirkiness which doesn't overwhelm the design and allows other palates to coordinate with an otherwise neutral skirt. TTS

Something special! This is one of the best Anthro purchases I have ever made. The construction of my skirt was faultless, so I expect it to be in my closet for a long time! The drape was perfect; it did not ride up or cling at all. Although it fit to my figure, it was not at all restrictive like pencil skirts and similar cuts often are. The material and pleating in the back keep it comfortable. The knit wasn't scratchy to me, but I did try it on over tights as I expect to wear it, so I am not sure how the bare legged look as modeled would actually feel. ( I am often sensitive to woolly garments, so I include this for others like me.)

Pick through to find the best swan.As other reviewers have said, depending on the skirt you get, the swan looks less or more swan like. More is better (otherwise it resembles a large cotton puff on your skirt). The fabric in this skirt is perfect for winter - it's a nice weight and will be toasty on particularly cool nights. The pleats at the back help the skirt fall in a very flattering way.

Anthro Style! This skirt is the type of item I typically look for at Anthro; it's pretty, feminine and unique!Online I wasn't sure about a few things but in-person, I couldn't find anything amiss. It actually exceeded my expectations. It's incredibly soft (feels like cashmere) with built-in stretch for easy movement. It's highly comfortable and feels great to the touch. Only wished it was a tad shorter. The swan appears exactly as in the stock photo and the pleats in the back are also a nice touch. Overall great buy!Runs TTS. I took an XS.
