Great fit and lookI ordered these to wear under my shorts for an outdoor theater production of "South Pacific". I am 5'4", 155 lbs. and ordered the XL in light suntan. They fit perfectly and they make me feel more confident about my legs. They don't seem too shiny or out of place under the stage lights, and they really hold everything in and cover up spider veins and the inevitable bug bites. Even though I've been scratching them for days (see bug-bite reference) and generally abusing them, they are still holding up fine through repeated washings. A friend says that she's had the same pair for eleven years and they just now got a run in them. Another thing I love about these tights is that they hit right at my waist. Whenever I've worn pantyhose, they always have too much fabric on top and I have to either roll them down or pull them way up on my chest.

Durable -Great for everyone, but sizes run small!Capezio tights are awesome. They are pretty much impervious to snags and runs, wash up great in the washing machine, and last a long time. Plus they are strong and hold everything in to make you smooth. I would suggest getting 1-2 sizes larger than you think you need. I'm 5'6" and leggy, wear a size 11-13 in Juniors jeans and a 10 in women's, and I can get away with the XL, but just barely. I fit best in the XXL.These are high-waisted tights so you won't have a muffin top if they fit you correctly. If you are too large for the tights you bought, and are therefore taking up a lot of space in the tights which prevents them from going up as high, and they are constricting your midsection, you can just take some scissors and snip the center seam about an inch to open up the width at the top a little bit. I have done this many times without destroying the tights or causing a run. Some other things I love about these tights are: They don't have a line at the top of the thigh like most nylons - they are completely smooth all the way from toe to hip. They are warmer than nylons. The color choices are better than most nylons. *Note, if you are pale, get the nude color, everything else will look too orange on you.The one downfall I have experienced with these is in regards to the only weak point on the tights - the crotch. It seems the center piece they sew in to the crotch of the tights is prone to being defective. I would say 1 in 5 pairs I have bought have been rendered useless by the seam there getting a hole and then they are virtually useless as it damages the structural integrity of the tights. Once that hole is there, if you try to put them on, the hole will rip and become huge. Still, this failure rate is far lower than the failure rate I experience with non-dance tights.
Logically Challenged? - Review from Amazon.com
BEWARE Sizing! The tights are great quality, but the XXL size might fit a bulemic "2X" dancer who weighs 90 pounds. Since I washed and tried to put the tights on, I cannot return them. But I will never waste my money again on this product. The sizing is completely bogus. So BEWARE!

Super scratchy!Pros:Don't have that annoying line near the upper thigh.Nice and dark black tights.Cons:extremely rough to the touch. Will not be buying again because of that.I am a former dancer and have been looking for nice black tights to wear during the winter. I get frustrated because spanx and other tights have that built in panty/thigh reducer at the top. Now don't get me wrong, I love that benefit but along with it comes an annoying line across my thigh. It dawned on me my old dance tights dont have that line. And these do not. So for that I am grateful. I will wear these until they wear out. But, these are so NOT soft! :(I also bought these, they are MUCH softer. I will get these in the future.

way better than regular tights for the same priceI can't believe I haven't bought dance tights before. They are so much more durable than regular tights. The sizing is way off though. I'm 5'7 and 140lbs and according to the sizing chart I would have been a medium. Thank god I read other reviews and checked on their website and got the correct sizing chart and ordered an extra large. The tights fit perfect and they are very comfortable. Will definitely buy another pair in black. Also I bought the color caramel in hopes of matching my skin color and it kinda sorta matches (I'm not pale or tan, somewhere in between) but I feel like the tights could have been a shade darker. Here is the real sizing chart: [...]I would recommend ordering a size up if you are close to the border just to be safe :)
