Capture the raw energy of Fame by Lady Gaga, the first ever black eau de parfum. It starts off black, like the soul of fame, but becomes invisible once airborne. Enriched with tears of belladonna, a black veil of incense, and juicy apricot and honey. Soft florals of jasmine, sambac and tiger orchidea create balance and femininity. Jennifer - Review from Zappos
I bought the smaller bottle having smelled it before from the tester but not knowing how it would develop on me throughout the day. My feelings toward Gaga are neutral...I in no way consider myself a "Little Monster" but do not dislike her, so the fact it is hers had no bearing. I was drawn to the bottle by the black color, and picked it up thinking "I want to know what black perfume looks like when you spray it". I was unsurprised to see that it sits clear on the skin (I don't think this is due to revolutionary technology as is claimed; I suspect it's just because the atomized spray is so fine you don't notice the color) but was pleasantly surprised that it smells good. I hate heavy florals, because that's just not my style and because they give me headaches/nausea. I generally have to stick to "food" and "earthy" type scents, but this one does not bother me. Those with sensitivities who are tired of smelling like cookies, try it. My man noticed it without my having to say anything and pronounced it good. I have seen it described elsewhere as old-lady like, or something Liz Taylor would wear; I must disagree. I loathe White Diamonds and its ilk, and avoided perfume for years because scent after foul scent, I figured that was all there was. But it's definitely worth it to seek out a tester of this, or else try the rollerball or small bottle before committing. I will repurchase the larger size!
