The Avalon Planters (2009) have traditional planter shapes but are crafted from a thoroughly modern material: fiberstone. Fiberstone is made from combining stone dust and resin and coating it with a layer of fiberglass. The result is a planter that's lightweight and easy to move, but that will stand up to the outdoor elements without cracking or flaking. And this durable material will maintain its color through years of sun and rain.

  • Lightweight fiberstone; ideal for balconies, decks and entryways where stone or terra cotta planters would be too heavy.
  • A bit about this material: Fiberstone is speckled with flecks of other colors because it has pieces of real stone in it. Also, like real stone, abrasions will show if you scrape the surface. This gives it a slightly distressed appearance.
  • To ensure versatility, the planter does not have holes drilled in the bottom for drainage they can be added fairly easily.
