I got this slip from Shopbop in blush color , but it does not match the rose color I saw at the local FP store. I may have to wait and order the slip in March from FP. Otherwise, the slip is beautiful and fits tts.
I ordered this slip in Rose in XS and S, but the XS is backordered until March, so I just kept the Small. I am petite & curvy, 5'2" 110 lbs 34-25-35 and the small fits nicely. I am usually a XS or S, but have a feeling as others have mentioned that the smaller size may be tricky to get on/off. The material is quite delicate and there is no stretch. It's SO gorgeous. I have already worn it to work and two holiday parties and everyone loves it! I wore it with the rose tulle maxi slip under to a holiday party, but have worn it with a tank dress underneath and a cropped jacket and also with leggings and a cami under with an open-knit sweater over top. I love it!!
I know everyone loves this slip, and it is so right up my alley in theory—sequins, sheer fabric, mini length, light colours?!—but I'm going to be the odd one out and complain here. My two major grievances are these: the neckline is awkwardly high, and the waist is too wide. If this was cut a little bit lower—not so as to be indecent, but just allow the collarbones to come out maybe—and the waist wasn't so straight, I feel that this would be a lot more flattering. I will say, though, that the colours (all of them, though the rose is my favourite) are fabulous, and the details are divine, and if you can layer it comfortably under a cardigan (You totally can.) then it'll probably be a shower-stopper. Just…be ready if you like your romance to be sexy, too.
