soft leather but wayyyy tooo expensivei agree with the other review. so excited and loved the pix on the web. the leather is so soft and beautiful but NOT lined. you CANNOT wear anything but black, grey, navy otherwise i can see the black leather rubbing off on any other color top.pockets are not functional - if you put your phone or wallet in the pkts, there will be sagging immediately b/c the garment is so soft and you don't want to see this near your bust or hips.it's very smooth leather so if yo u scratch it, you will see it. this is definitely not a wear-everyday piece. cannot justify the price.

I'll stick to pleatherI was so excited to get this jacket in the mail; it looks incredible in the pictures. It's a true piece of art. When I got it, I was disappointed to find it isn't lined.. like, not at all. It's literally an outer layer of leather. Don't get me wrong, it's buttery soft in all the right ways, and the collar is pliable and will stay like the picture suggests, but it definitely runs big and isn't nearly as form fitting, and when it's purposely off-center, it's not nearly as functional as I'd like. All of the stitching is on the outside, which adds character, but even on the sleeves and shoulders that makes it feel like it was kind of thrown together. I love the off-center buttons, but to close the jacket you need to button every. single. one. I can't imagine going somewhere with the idea of taking it off and having to put it back on. that's waaaay too many buttons. If I'd kept it, I'd have taken it to a professional tailor that would put the buttons on the outer layer and installed a hidden zipper on the inside. Anything short of that isn't practical in the least. I love the asymmetrical shape, but the pockets (one is horizontal, the other vertical) are right below your bra line and makes their function moot as well.Don't get me wrong, the quality of the jacket is excellent, but this isn't something I can justify spending SO much money on. It's beautiful, but I'll never realistically be able to wear it.
