Fantastic Booties!I am a huge fan of Frye boots because of their style, durability, and how comfortable they are, and these Carson Lace-up Booties are just as fantastic as the others in my Frye collection! The style of the boot is very flattering and slimming...it is not your typical bulky combat boot. I ordered the dark brown and the color is beautiful. You do have to untie and loosen the laces when you first get them before putting them on and zipping them up. Like another reviewer, I found that the zipper stuck and the boots felt really tight, but after wearing them for a few minutes and working the zipper a few times they were comfortable and fit true to size. I really like how the soles are kind of rugged and have some traction and that the heel on these booties are just the right height.

i need another pair in a different colorI love these boots! So comfortable and versatile. I am on my feet for long stretches of time and have no issues with discomfort when wearing these Frye's. I have had problems with my feet in the past and often find it terribly difficult to find a pair of boots that fit. I love the style and feel the quality is excellent! I would highly recommend these boots to anyone. Can be work with skinny jeans or wide leg.

Great boot!I ordered these on a whim and wasn't sure about how they would look. They look great and are comfortable the first time they are put on.

Cute but a bit clown-shoe-ishThis was the first pair of Frye boots I'd ever tried, and they lived up to their reputation. They were snug to get on -- even with the side zipper (which was, in itself, really difficult to pull up and down because it was partially caked in whatever coating they use to give the boot that dirty look), but once they were on, they felt totally comfy, and I could assume they'd only get more comfy if I'd actually chosen to keep them and wear them in. The reason I didn't keep them is because they were too long in the toe for me. I'm usually a size 11, and that's what I ordered, but there was a lot of room in the toe, so they made my feet look extra long, like I was wearing clown shoes. I'd be curious to try a size 10, but they're all out.
