Well crafted and classic boot style that will only get better over time. I bought the dark brown color and I'm thinking about adding to my collection. The leather is super soft but the heel cup rubs ever so slightly...I'm sure they just need to be broken in a bit more. I had to go up a size because my normal size was a tad snug with socks. These boots are definitely worth every penny!

These boots are fantastic if you have bigger calves because you can adjust the top and also make room for your skinny jeans. They are not hard to break in, the first day I got these I wore them for over 11 hours. Very comfortable...if you are use to wearing boots and understand leather starts off a little stiff!

Cute boot. More dressy than the Campus Lug and with a slightly more elongated round toe. Just ended up being too high for my need - already had knee high boots.

Crazy in love!I have been eyeing these boots for over a year, waiting and deliberating because this would be the most I have ever spent on a pair of shoes. Low and behold the color I want is on sale! So I bit thinking if I don't love them insanely I will send them back. Well I am punch-drunk in love with these shoes. Frye's quality is untouchable. The overwhelming smell of the glorious leather as I opened the box had me gitty as a school girl. I have always had a problem with boots because of my athletic calves, so my only thing I wish for in these is laces that are a tad bit longer. Fall is here and I plan to wear these babies out in style...a lot!

All-time favorite boots! I've had these boots for 2 years now, and they are hands-down my favorites. I got them in brown, which is more of a cognac. And continue to receive compliments almost every time I wear them. They do scuff easily, but with this style of boot, it doesn't bother me. I just replaced the outer rubber part of the heel (keep an eye on the outer 1/4" rubber part, if you replace that before you wear into the wood heel, it's a lot easier and cheaper to replace), and gave them a good rub-down with the Frye conditioning cream (the one in the tin). The Frye cream does darken the boots a little, but I didn't mind at all...I almost like them better now, as it brought more of the reddish tones out, and also buffed out most of the scuffs. These are definitely the most expensive shoes/boots I own, and it took me a lot of hemming and hawing to purchase them, but I'm so glad I did. I wear them with everything: Skinny jeans, skirts, & dresses. Keep the leather conditioned, replace the heels and soles in time, and these should last you a lifetime.
