A simple bend in a steel sheet creates a delicate and sturdy ledge for placing pictures against a wall. The picture ledge is made of 12 gage steel. It is very structurally sound, and we have never had one bend. A six foot ledge has 6 mounting points and can easily hold over 100 lbs if mounted professionally and correctly. The strength of the piece and load possible all depends on the mounting hardware and the surface to be mounted on. We supply six screws and 6 drywall anchors. We suggest trying to have it mount to a stud in a sheet rock wall and to use masonry anchors specific to the type of masonry wall if necessary. Materials: Stainless steel.
