CSaj560 - Review from Nordstrom
Love them, a bit PainfulFirst off, I cannot tell you how long I have been trying to find a flat shoe that has the design of a saddle shoe. When I saw these, I ultimately fell in love with them. So, I decided to purchase the black and white color. I really wanted the cobalt/white but they didn't have it in my size (9.5 M).After receiving them at home, I was really thrilled. So, I decided to wear them to work the next day. Boy, that was a bad idea. I had the mentality of, "They're flats, what could go wrong?" Usually, I break in each pair of shoes that I buy, regardless if it's a tennis shoe, pump, flat, or sandal. I usually break them in. I was so wrong with this pair. I didn't break them in before I wore them to work. The end result, my feet took a beating. I had blisters on my heels and on the sides where my pinkie is.At the same time, I'm not sure if breaking them in would have helped. The leather is stiff and the heel edge seems to really cut at my heels.Sadly, I have to send them back. I love them and if they fit right, I would have gladly kept them.I still would strongly recommend them. It's a beautiful, classy shoe that you can wear with anything!Best to you and I hope you have much better luck than me with these shoes.
