One of the Most Useful of Mauviel PansI too own the 2.0 mm thick Mauviel "Cuprinox Style" line (it's "Style" not "M'Style") that is a virtual lookalike for this series (except for the slightly flared upper rim that helps with pouring, and the fact that it's slightly thicker copper at 2.0 mm rather than the 1.5 mm now in production.I also own my previous Mauviel that's 1.5 mm thick copper with tin-lined interiors, and honestly I can't see that much of a difference between the two in weight, feel, and performance, and understand that Mauviel had to make some changes to reduce production costs (and sale) prices in a world where the U.S. dollar isn't worth what it once was.Now with a town and country life, I still use both sets, and really, 1.5 mm thick is just fine, and a pleasure to use. I would never own any other cookware than Mauviel after using it.99 percent of people wouldn't even notice the difference in daily use.

A bit thin. This is a nice pan for someone who doesn't like lifting the thick solid feeling copper cookware that mauviel is known for. I like feeling a little bit of weight with my pots, i guess it makes me feel more like I'm getting what I paid for. The copper is a good deal thinner than the other mauviel cookware and to be honest it just feels like a cheap thin copper pot, it probably cooks well (though I'm sure not as well as thicker copper) and it IS lighter for those of you who desire that. I also don't like that they got rid of the non drip pour edge, but at least they kept the stay cool ss handles. I miss the old discontinued version of this line, the mauviel cuprinox m'style series. They were perfect. Needless to say I returned this pan.
