Only commercial shampoo I use! Both my husband (who has long curly hair) and I (even longer wavy hair) use this shampoo along with Nature's Gate Tea Tree Calming Conditioner. I have dry scalp and can develop patches of eczema. I find that these products keep my head happy and my hair is nice after using. The only other thing I use is homemade baking soda/water/tea tree oil shampoo and cider vinegar/water conditioner. My husband uses NG exclusively now over Panteen or Tresseme.

Wise and Critical, to faulty promises. - Review from drugstore.com
Nature's Gate Tea Tree Calming ShampooNot for me, at all, for reasons, described above. And to tell the Truth, I suspected it: the one INGREDIENT both shampoo and conditioner have is MINT OIL, which I do not tolerate. Also, it could be, Tea Tree Oil, was very toxic for me, too. When I was washing my hair today, I accidentally swallowed a bit of the shampoo water, and started coughing. Beware ! After using shampoo and conditioner for the first time today, the dandruff is just "flying" to my sweater: which had never-ever happened before !My throat is still sore. I am switching back to Head & Shoulders, even though I love my other "normal" Nature's Gate Shampoos.Bottom line: we all are different, have different needs and have different issues, at different phases in our lives.

Didn't work for meI had been using a product that irritated my scalp and decided to purchase the Tea Tree Calming Shampoo to help get my scalp back to normal. Unfortunately, after using this shampoo for two weeks it ended up irritating my scalp too. That's unfortunate, since that's exactly what it's supposed to be help clear up, not causing it. I started using a different calming shampoo and my scalp has since gone back to normal, so it was definitely the shampoo and not some other factor. I did like the smell and my hair felt very healthy using this shampoo. So, for those with less sensitive scalps this may be a great product.
