NewYorkLuxaholic - Review from Sally Beauty
Best mascara since Max Factor's 2000 calorieI have spent hundreds of wasted dollars trying to find a mascara that would compare to Max Factor's 2000 calorie. The majority of the brands I tried flaked little pieces into my eye or landed all under my eyes. Many that claimed their product was for sensitive eyes had fumes so bad I would have to completely remove my make up and re-do it.I even tried "latisse" for a couple months. Latisse runs around $120/bottle. My eyes are blue and I developed little specs on my actual eye from this product. It also gave me VERY dark circles. It is harsh on the eyes and will burn. I did notice an increase in my lashes but honestly; the L'Oreal lash serum worked better for me and was $100 cheaper. After 2000 calorie mascara was discontinued and I realized latisse wasn't an option, I was less than optimistic I would ever find a mascara that would make my tiny, light eyelashes ever look voluptuous again.A rep at Sally's said she had good luck with this brand so I gave it a shot.I LOVE it! It actually promotes lash growth and applies to a wonderful, thick, evenly distributed coating. I apply a second layer if I want the eyes to pop. With this product, I did not have ANY issues with flaking or "melting" under my eyes during hot days. I did not try the waterproof yet so I can not gauge how it will perform. This particular item is a fabulous product nourished with herbs for lash fulfillment. I'm not a big review writer but had to share my experience with this product. I'm ordering more right now.
