Ok, so this dress is the right size for me, a decent length and of good quality. However, as per the style of the dress, the waist is (deliberately) proportionally large. It's not that it simply runs large. I can tell it's meant to be like this, because it's apparent when you look at People Tree's own website (you will see a model wearing the dress and clearly, the waist is designed to be loose). Now, I thought this style might work for me, but sadly it just doesn't. What does actually run small/large is the shoulders/upper bust area - it's a bit snug. I say this because I've never had this type of problem before. It is with regret that I return it. I love the print, but it just isn't quite right.

All right. So I put this dress on as soon as I got it and it's different than I imagined it. On the right is what I imagined, a tighter fitting dress in the waist. What I have is on the left. It fits perfect in the bust/shoulder/arms but loose everywhere else. Which that may be the style of the dress? I am pulling about 1-2 inches of fabric in the waist to make it tighter. If I went a size down, it would be too tight up top. I'm still trying to decide whether or not if I like this style because I am used to form fitting dresses. Maybe if I took it to get alterations to the fit I imagined? But I feel like if I bought $120 dress that it should be near perfection. The fabric is a nice and thick. Just the fit and shape seems odd to me.P.S. I usually wear size 6 in dresses and I wear 10UK.

Very cute dress but runs large compared to other UK sizing that I have experienced. I'm a 10 US and I ordered the 14 UK and it is at least one full size too large. Going to try out the 12

I really wanted to love this dress, I adore the pattern but unforunately the fit is very off. The body was huge on me, it hung like a bag and took no shape. The waistline fell just above my hip, so it also seems to be very long. Despite the excess in the body, I found the bust to be very tight, I could barely move my arms all the way up. I'm sad to say I'll be sending this one back :(

Im very sad that im returning this dress. The print is adorable and the dress is of good quality. But for some odd reason the waist/tummy area of this dress looked very big and unflattering on me. It actually made me look larger than I am in that area. Which was a deal breaker for me. Such a shame, I really liled this dress.
