Flat Footed Chick Says "Heaven to My Tootsies"Purchased these in order to provide better support than my cheap sneakers that were years old. I am overweight and attempting to continue taking the weight off. Besides eating well, I have to exercise but needed better shoes to keep moving. They came within 4 days after ordering them on Friday, they arrived Monday. I worked out with them Monday night and felt a BIG difference. The ankle support for my weakened ankles is not too constricting and you can adjust the straps for comfort. There's a nice built-up arch support and my arch (or lack thereof) on my right foot usually aches during the high impact aerobics, however, with these great dance shoes, I felt no pain throughout my 55 minute workout, nor afterwards during cool-down time. I wear 9.5 and this shoe is true-to-size for me.

I can't get over the improvement in my aerobics classesI do dance classes 5 times a week, zumba, hiphop, dance toning - and I started to have some knee and hip soreness, which I had attributed to healthy issues and medication side effects. I read online that some people experienced this when their shoes were too grippy on the gym floors. So, I decided to research less "grippy" shoes - considering the Zumba brand of shoes, even. I'm so thrilled I chose these. They aren't as hard at the sole as others I've tried, the sole allows you to twist effortlessly on the floors at the gym - but not too slippery! The only place they seem too slippy is at the end when we are stretching and doing side lunges. There is a hard point at the sole that allows turns to be so much easier. I'm able to do the moves so much easier - I used to wonder how it was even POSSIblE to do these moves - was I that stiff? Now, I realize it was my dang shoes. I was using running and cross trainers earlier - and they were like glue to the floor, which is great on the treadmill! Anyway, I highly recommend these shoes. I have no need to get a different brand or style. If I could, I'd get the other colors for variety. VERY pleased, highly recommend!

Great Zumba Shoe!!I have been looking for fun and functional shoes for Zumba. I had been wearing a general cross-training shoe as I felt I needed the overall support in my foot, and even though I had read all of the articles . . how much difference could the right shoe make? :) I never noticed that I was having problems sliding or moving my feet in class - but over the last few weeks my foot was becoming sore in an odd place on my foot. I thought it was just because I needed new shoes. I decided to try these as they do have a "spin spot" and also as they would support my ankles. Also, I read they had additional support on the outside of the foot - which is where I had noticed my foot hurting after class. These made a HUGE difference. This is the first time in awhile my foot has not been sore after class. The only thing I would like to have is a little more cushion on the inside of the shoe under the ball of my foot. Other than that - I have found a new dance shoe.

Awesome for ZumbaI take several Zumba classes a week and need a shoe that is light, sturdy and alows me to do all the pivots and turns and lateral movements. I wore them for the first time last week and they were wonderful. Greak ankle support...I did change insert, I needed a little more arch support but this shoe does the job, very pleased and love the color!!

Great for Zumba. So i started zumba at a new gym. after several years on padded wood floor, now i'm dancing on hard tile. my ankles and shins were killing me. for those of you who know about zumba moves, u have to be able to twist, slide and jump placing pressure on your feet, ankles, knees, etc. i tried every shoe out there, including the very expensive ones. i finally found the right one. i love these shoes. i feel no pain now and can slide, twist and jump making my routine a total sucess. great support for your ankles, they don't get stuck when you slide your feet from side to side and the colors are great, bold zumba style. i'm ordering a new pair every paycheck until i collect them all. i highly recommend these shoes for dancing.
