I was so bummed my size was all out...I ended up with the M. It fits me snug but should be fine, the only thing is the top stitch over the fold came undone, see pics...there was not enough fabric on the fold to stay intact, it's an area where a top long enough to cover that area. The length is shorter and will make do, I still love this skirt, from the color, fabric and style. Just wished it did not fall apart on me. I haven't worn it yet and don't plan to return it ...the fact that there are no more in my size:( All in all I'll keep it even with the minor flaw and length.
I bought this in the sand colour, size M. I usually buy a small in FP skirts as I am smaller on the hips than the top, however if you want to wear it low on the hips then you may need to size up as it is a little snug. The fabric is quite stretchy though. The skirt does not disappoint and hangs beautifully. I love the layered inserts. I wore it the day it arrived and received a number of compliments. It is long for those tall girls out there. I am 5'11' and it is floor length on me with flats.
This item is what Free People does best. Flowy feminine. I bought this skirt with my birthday discount in a medium in the charcoal. I thought it might be unflattering with my mommy tummy. And I was right. However, nothing a pair of spanx can't fix.The ruffles are so pretty. The material is the same heavy cotton as the miles of henley dress. I paired mine with the Free People big wave tee in the green stripes with my obi belts, boots, and silver earrings.Get this one while you can! Great price for a great piece.
Love, this skirt, got the peachy color and when I went to order the grey it was already sold out in my size. I'm a large and I thought it might be too much going on for a big girl but no way, it actually is extremely flattering! So, so cute, and I don't usually like long skirts on me.............boots, jackets and tees here we come!! Very pleased. You'll so love it..............going, going, gone.
