mom of twins and 4 others! - Review from Amazon.com
Bought them for myself but......my daughter almost died of excitement when she saw them in the box because thought they where for her 13th birthday - so I gave them to her. She NEVER has cold feet anymore, even used them on a few snowmobiling trips! They make you taller too, which she always loves!

Awesome! These boots are warm, comfortable, and great in the snow! I have received several compliments while wearing these. They are a bit on the pricey end, but are worth the extra cost for the quality.

AwesomeSeriously the best ever! Perfect fit and achieves the intended hilarious reaction. Wish they weren't so expensive, but awesome nonetheless.

Warm and totally crazy lookingI have this weird obsession with crazy over the top boots. I don't know why, most people would probably call these ugly. I think my friend almost threw up when she saw them, which means I had to buy them immediately. First off, fit is a little weird, they don't have a left and right that I know of, they are foam-feeling on the inside and snug but not in an uncomfortable way. It's necessary that they fit like that so that they actually move with your feet because they are giant. If there was any heel slip I would imagine these would be impossible to walk in. They are very comfortable as they are. These are without question the warmest boots I own. I walked around in 10 degree (F) windy wet weather and my feet were sweating a little. I am not sure if these would work well on wider calves, they are pretty tight on me and I have very narrow calves. The foam is the same as the foot bed though, so it might be more adjustable. You should probably try them on first or make sure there's free return shipping if you do have wide calves. The traction for these gets a B or a B+. They aren't as good as my hiking boots on slick surfaces but are certainly better than sneakers or uggs. Part of the issue is that the shoes are so big and insulated that it's tricky to feel the ground, meaning you don't feel little "micro-slips." I walked a few miles in them and the only time it was an issue was on a steep icy hill, which I walked up at almost a normal pace without falling or slipping much. These look awesome. When I went out at night in these a lot of drunk college kids stopped me to rave about them, that might be a good or a bad thing depending on who you are. Lots of kids smiling and pointing too.If you like the way these look, you will love them. They are comfortable and practical for a snow romp. They are VERY statement making though and just as loud as in the photo.
