Thinkbaby Sunscreen - SPF 50 - 3 oz
thinkbaby Sunscreen - SPF 50 - 3 oz At thinkbaby and thinksport, we are continually expanding our mission to provide safe products by identifying consumer product categories with known human health issues. Specifically, we target products that contain high levels of hormone disruptors and carcinogens. We work with leading scientists worldwide to create safe alternatives. The majority of sunscreens currently on the market are full of questionable ingredients and known carcinogens. Simply looking at the ingredients you'll quickly realize you don't recognize any of them. Many existing sunscreens have been brought to market with little concern for their safety and boast inflated SPF numberss. Not only do ingredients in sunscreen interact with skin, but data shows after application of lotions, some of the same chemicals can be detected in the bloodstream. Most people wear sunscreen to reduce the chance of developing cancer, so why apply something that could potentially increase this risk? This question has unfortunately left many people moving away from using sunscreen at all. thinkbaby sunscreen and thinksport LIVESTRONG sunscreen is highly effective, falls into the highest category for water resistance and has a sensible SPF 50+ rating. A quick look on your local drugstore shelf will show an increasing number of chemical sunscreens boasting ultra-high SPFs of 60 and greater. Data assembled by the Environmental Working Group calls into question the efficacy of these sunscreens.

Safest and easiest to applyLimiting our options to susncreens approved by EWG (Environmental Working Group) we tried at least a half dozen different brands including Badger. We also tried the face sticks and found that Badger products in general are very thick and grainy and difficult to apply. Not so with Think Baby! We love that Think Baby is free of oxybenzone and other toxic absorbable chemicals. But the best part is how smoothly it goes on. I don't understand why other companies cannot achieve this with zinc and titanium based products. Also, my boys don't mind the smell of this one. It's a bit sweet/tropical, maybe a bit of banana. They HATED the smell of JASONs!!! even though I kind of liked it.

Not cheap but really goodThis sunscreen goes on smoothely and stays on; plus it well reviewed by the Environmental Working Group regarding what chemicals it includes and how they affect your skin and body. That combination has been difficult to find, so I'm sticking with this sunscreen even though it's expensive.
Toddler parents - Review from diapers.com
Best sunscreen for everyday useWe've tried just about all the baby sunscreens on the market and for everyday use this is the best one out there. Where some other sunscreens are lumpy or thick, this one spreads on smoothly, washes off easily and is also SPF 50, where many others have a lower SPF. Also, it gets good ratings on the Environmental Working Group's Cosmetics Database, so you can rest assured there are no (known) harmful chemicals, which seems to be a significant issue with many other products. If you are looking for a sunscreen to use in the water, then I would consider something else, but this is a great product for general use.

SUPERB Sunscreen for Babies!I found this sunscreen to use for my 9 month old twins on the EWG 2012 Sunscreen Report website. This stuff is just superb! The ingredients are great, it has over 20% zinc oxide in it, it's non greasy and it smells very nice. It rubs in well and doesn't leave white streaks everywhere.
