This dress was so cute, I was so excited to put it on and show it off to the world. But after taking the advice to size down, I realized that my regular S would've been just fine. The XS fit, but the bust looked awkward and a little too snug. Returned. :(

I was in love with this dress online! I got it in, I'm usually a medium, sometimes large, but the medium was huge. Not even big enough for a belt to fix. So unfortunately I had to send it back. I still plan in ordering a small, but it sells out fast.

not sure what my measurements are, but basically i am 5'3", about 130lbs, uninspiring breast size, and have a disproportionately small waist compared to the junk in la trunk. but this is a dress review and not my teen diary. ANYWAYS. this dress runs kind of large. it hits me right at my knee which is a lil long for me. i was enamored with it when i saw it online so i still didn't return it. the white pipping is cute but i wish the material of the dress was a bit more structured than the cotton. i am optimistic that this means it will transition well into summer. but all in all, not a super flattering dress. but i love the idea of it too much to let it go.

the quality of this dress was not what i expected based on the price. i also found the arm holes to be a little large.

This dress is really beautiful! I ordered a size down as recommended and am so happy I did. It is a touch more fitted in the bust than I would have liked, but the fabric provides some stretch and the fit in the waist is perfect so Im pretty sure a L would have been too loose. The fabric is super comfy, I would almost equate it to sweatshirt material, yet it doesn't look like it, so it can definitely still be worn to a fancier occasion. The hem hits me about an inch above the knee, ideally it would be an inch or two shorter, or tea length cuz knee-length isn't a great look for me (long torso, short legs) but that can be changed with a quick hem. even with the non ideal length I am so happy I purchased it. Nautical inspired without being costumey, can easily be dressed up or down, and very flattering cut. The price is a bit high for me, but I have no regrets, it's just that cute!
