As an artist, Andrzej Karwacki seeks to capture the essence, or internal quality, of his subject, to express mood and emotion with color and composition. To create this original work, he overlapped layer after layer of acrylic paint and water and finished with a resin coating, to capture what he calls "the inherent character" of the landscape amid the ever-shifting light and tones of land, sky and sea.
