Nature inspires Diego Mendoza as he reclaims roots from the granadillo tree letting the wood itself dictate the shape of each carving. Transformed into a set of two ladles the wood's grain enhances each one. The irregular forms seem shaped by the xocomil winds that blow across Lake Atitlan.
