Hi everyone! I'm Abby. I'm a young mom and full time midwifery student living in a small, dusty town in rural Nevada, USA.

I would describe my style as fun and functional. I like the strange and outlandish although I try to keep these items classy and one at a time because I have to be professional also. ;) I'm also a cheapskate and I've been told that there's a REASON items have been put on the clearance rack...

I didn't see that anyone was having an Emmy party, but hey, why not get dressed up anyway?

I'm SO happy that my faves won! Bryan Cranston and Michael Emerson. :)

I'm thinking this may land me on the "What Were They Thinking" page, but I'm feeling feisty and at least I'd get noticed!

I think this is so fab! I haven't seen the Emmys yet.. since I rely heavily on the internet for my tv... the downside of living in a third world country ;p LOVE the look!

Hello everyone! I hope you didn't forget about me. I've missed you all so much!
I've been busy as usual. I was laid off from my job in February and since that time I have been in school studying my bum off to become a midwife!
I hope I can spend more time here on SS.

I have missed you all! I've been so swamped lately that I haven't had much (well any!) SS time. :( But I have a month until I'm thrown back into the chaos of Midwifery prerequisites and women calling me at 2 am in labor, so I'm celebrating my freedom by taking us to the Galapagos!
(and because I WILL win the Jeopardy vacation!)
