Some days facing coworkers is counter productive and really to much to ask. SO, hide out at Starbucks, they have wifi, so you can do your emails, IM your coworkers, and get twice as much work done, and better coffee than from a vending machine.
Business casual should not be an excuse to wear khaki trousers. Light wieght wool wears much better than cotton, and looks much better in grey or navy.
