Hey, I live in rural New Mexico where my only neighbors are ranchers, cowboys, and llamas... but a girl's still gotta be a girl!

I sell Avon door-to-door to make ends meet as a single mom on the edge of poverty, and I dream B-I-G of the day I can swing my hips through Rodeo Drive.

Please visit my crazy Avon Lady Adventures blog, Beauty Dish:

and say "Hey, Cowgrrrrrl!"

I love roller-blading! You can't get a better low-impact workout, and nothing shapes those thighs and winter-weary rear like skating uphill.

Ready to workout? Pull on a pair of Bop Basics Track Shorts in black with heather trim. So soft and comfy!

Add a racer-back white top by Stella McCartney for Adidas. The open armholes will allow you to swing your arms with ease while you pick up speed.

Sport tube socks give your legs a dash of fun rainbow color and provide a little cushioning inside your blade boots.

Fix your hair in two cute pigtails with Sephora's Snag-Free hair elastics. These really work!

The Hamptons Weekend Watercolor Stripe wallet will match your socks. You can use the handy key clip to hook your necessities to your iPod's armband.

Rock and Roooolllllllll, baby! Just don't forget your protective gear!

Anyone else love roller-blading? What do you like to wear when you blade? I wear shorts just like the ones in this look with a cute t-shirt. I'm glad the weather has been great lately!

As a forty-something single mom of five wonderful children, I don't have a Kate Moss figure. I'm a life-size woman, with breasts, ample hips and a sexy wiggle in my walk. I love my curves and want my summer fashions to reflect the goddess that I am.

I put this polished-yet-carefree beach look together for all of us sexy mommas:

The Miraclesuit "Utopia" Halter Tank suit is a two-piece wonder. With a pink halter on the top and boy-cut pants shirred at the waist to help camouflage flaws, your curves will catch more surfers' glances than the ten-foot waves. The two pieces allow you to stretch and jump in the water with ease.

Elongate your shapely legs with a pair of Stuart Weitzman ivory canvas "One" wedges. The retro 70's print in pink, lime, ivory, and gray, is so much fun!

Marc Jacob sunglasses protect your eyes from the harsh ocean glare while you help your youngsters build an incredible fairy sand castle.

Keep those salon highlights looking fresh with the help of a metallic straw hat.

A Lucia Mesh Tote bag has room enough for a towel, good beach read, snacks and bottled water for you and the kids, as well as a big bottle of sunscreen.

Every woman deserves to look hot and feel comfortably cool at the beach!

I added those cute wedge sandals because they looked comfy as well as adorable. I considered a thong-type of flip-flip first, but thought these were better. Anyone have any opinion?
hey cowgrrrrl!

the wedge is cute, put wedge + sand = falling flat on your face. so unless you've exploring the village shops, i would go with flats.

Congrats, girl! You worked hard these past four years, and you're ready to march to Pomp and Circumstance.

You've learned some important lessons about financial responsibility, but you still want to look your best under that cap and gown.

Mac & Jac's Tribal Floral Dress won't break the bank. With its empire waist, black and white feminine print, and cute black bow belt, you will keep cool and chic while you wait for the Dean to announce your name.

A pair of black Mary Jane pumps by Korryy - under fifty bucks - will look adorable under the hem of your graduation gown.

Less has always meant more when it comes to academic success. Add a simple pair of silver Sulia earrnings to add sparkle to your grin when you accept your diploma. A pretty silver ring by Instict is inscribed with your personal motto - "Love, Laughter, Inspire, Joy."

Carry those little essentials in a black 34th Street Clutch. It won't take up too much space on your lap in those stadium stands.

Once you toss your hat into the air, you'll be ready to party... and you'll have money to spare!

Congrats, and good luck, girlfriend!

I think simple and pretty - like this look - is the way to go at graduation. You don't want to be worried about something coming loose or sweating too much on a hot night, especially if you are indoors under lights. I tried to keep the outfit under $150, as most grads don't have a lot of cash to play with.

Have to pick up grocery goodies? Gotta get stamps at the P.O., drop off that little black dress at the cleaners, shuttle the kids to baseball practice? Errands don't have to mean grubby sweats and an old tee!

Show the bag boy you're one hot momma in a pair of Raven Remy Skinny Jeans. There's a reason you continue to buy those cartons of low-carb yogurt!

The Postal Clerk will raise one eyebrow when you saunter to the counter carrying that package for Aunt Daisy in a turquoise Free People One Shoulder Viscose Top. Your carefully sculpted biceps never looked so casually elegant.

Your dry-cleaner's jaw will drop when you click inside his establishment in your curvy black Celine Japanese wedge shoes. The ankle cut of your jeans juxtaposed with the shoe's tie-straps enhances even the most exercised calf. Yummy!

Sweep your hair back with a few drops of silicon pomade and fix with a black Jennifer Behr headband. Add black khol by Givency, a handful of colorful Alexis Bittar skinny bangles in jade, turquoise, and lavender. Complete the look with matching earrings sporting cute intertwined circles and dual stones.

Don't forget to carry a napkin to wipe your daughter's baseball coach drool!

Less is more. Just ask any cowboy...

You'll rope any man with your little Tri Color Tank Dress with it's low-cut bodice and softly-swirling saffron hem.

Boot-scoot your way to your cowboy's heart after the rodeo in a pair of graduated-heel Princess Boots in tooled leather.

Pull back your hair and show off your ranch-honed shoulders with a Bead Ponytail Holder, but leave a few flirty strands to frame your face.

Slip the Gerard Yosca Spiderweb Bracelet in spun yellow gold and coral on one arm. Tonight's a night when less is more, and one signature piece of jewelry will echo the sparkle in his eyes when you rustle his hair.

Keep your essentials in a Dooney & Bourke Texas Drawstring Bag with its adorable cowboy boot and lariat pattern.

Giddy-up and go, girl!
