The most famous burlesque performer of our generation, Dita von Teese is also world-renowned for her personal 1940s-inspired style. A trained costume designer, von Teese was born and raised in Rochester, Michigan, has worked as a film actress, never uses a stylist and dyes her naturally blonde hair black all by herself.

Here's Dita von Teese looking drop-dead amazing at the John Galliano for Dior 10th anniversary special couture runway collection last month in Paris. Though she's wearing a non-traditional color, she looks stunning.

Is this any indication of what we'll be seeing in stores in seasons to come? Will palest purple and lusccious light lavender be the new it-colors for fall or spring? Stay tuned.

Love this look also, white can be a difficult look but again Dita pulls the look off effortlessly. Great selection of dress, shoes and bags. Will be wearing something like this when the summer comes. Great job :)
