I don't think I've done a double look before. Generally, I'm a one-look woman.
However, these accessories just scream out to me. I want to wear them with everything: fur jacket, purple suede booties, olive tote, and gold statement jewelry.
I don't know if it matters what you pair with them... but I do think these two basic looks manage to hold their own.

Hey y'all! I'm so glad to be back!
I had a lot of low-tech holiday travel time. No computer, no TV, but a lot of books and time to think.
I have a very long list of New Year's Resolutions to work through in 2009, but for starters:
- Go to museums more than twice this year. I will use this painting as inspiration if I falter. I love Peregrine Honig!
- Read one book per week. I finally got around to reading The Alchemist last week. Perhaps that is why there is so much gold in this look...
- Start wearing skirts again. I've been stuck in a dress or jeans rut, and I'm totally ignoring the vast skirt potential available in the wide-open universe.
