I'm a 24 year old young lady living in Williamsburg Brooklyn by way of small town Tennessee. I currently work as a professional modern dancer performing, teaching, and touring the world, but I consider my real work my blog Fashion Weakley.

I'm continually crusading to discover new independent designers, and dig clothing that is vintage inspired but clearly exercises a contemporary flair via shape or color or both. I love getting creative with clothing!

This look was inspired by the character Gloria Wandrous in John O'Hara's short story Butterfield 8. She's a raucous socialite during the days of Prohibition. I just envision her speeding out to Long Island in a convertible with Carey Grant in this outfit. It's obviously the modern day version, but isn't it interesting the vintage feel of it all when put together?
