I started the group "The Men's Department" for guys like me, the ones who don't mind going to the mall with their girl because we have just as much too look at as they do....albeit in less stores and less items.
I am normally against Sperry items, but these are not boat shoes, so we're good here. I've been looking at some seersucker stuff, but I've never wanted to go the full suit route because to me that just seems too much on the stripes. I like these shoes though. I think they give a solid nod to to beachy prep without being too pretentious. I like the slim fit khakis for similar reasons; its a hipster take on an American-turned-prep classic....and you konw my feelings on military shirts from my last look.
I'm getting on these rolled up sleeve shirts. Western, military, and camp ones too. I like their verstility, they are casual, but structured. Full button fronts are a step up from polos and the added loops on the sleeves, 2 chest pockets and patterns make them a much more desirable alternative to short sleeved dress shirts (NEVER a good idea.)
I'm glad its getting warm again too. I'm not a huge fan of shorts, but these twill ones work for me. I can't stand cargo shorts and jean shorts (jorts) are also NEVER a good idea. I also like these because they are an alternative to khaki colored khaki shorts.
