I rise each morning torn between a desire to improve my life and a desire to enjoy it. I'm battling stage 4 of a very rare type of Lymphoma. But, I don't believe it's what defines me. Instead, I feel it's the people I love, my style and sense of humor, the choices I've made and the lessons I've learned. It's not the length of life that's important to me but, the depth of it. Life well spent is long.

Trend to love: The leather jacket. Cropped, fitted or detailed it gives you serious 'style attitude'. And, with prices from under $100 to over $5,000-there's already been a few major sales! Case and point, ideeli's recent blast from the past 'Members Only' sample sale. These are just a few of my favorites. A blog post... I wish I had more time to just create looks! :(

American Fashion Accessories book giveaway at ideeli... Made me think of my favorite way to accessorize. Black, of course. I also usually go silver over gold and love, love, love red lipstick & nail polish as a final touch :)

I started off creating a look to go with the new pair of Chloe sunglasses I bought at ideeli today. Something a little crazy, funky and wild. And, then I was looking at the things I had saved recently. A lot of them 'borrowed' from my new friends. All so creative, talented and super glamorous. It was then that I realized that I wasn't just creating this look because I was excited about a new purchase. But, because I felt really lucky to be here, surrounded by so much beauty.
