I think the tie dye slouchy shirt tucked in with a sexy black leather skirt works pretty well together. A few accessories add to the whole leather grunge look. The clutch by Zac Posen is so sexy. I would go with either this dangling earring or the big ring by Lauren Wolf but I probably wouldn't do both together. That may be too much. Less is always more :)
I think creating a folkie image for city life is about not overdoing the look. This is what I feel would be perfect for a casual day out shopping or meeting with your girl friends for brunch. The right pair of jeans, a simple white top, and let your accessories stand out. The Tory Burch bag adds the right amount of fringe without overkill to the folkie look.
