My mother's always trying to get me to wear a dress, so I picked a dress. I love the happy green color. The only thing I don't like is that it has no top coverage, no straps, which worries my modesty and can lead to some ugly sun burns if you forget your SPF. So I paired the dress with happy yellow tank top, for a fun layered looked that's still appropriate in summer heat. Luckily, this color combo is reflected in a cute set of bangle bracelets. Also, I had my eye on two accessories from the outset, a sweet looking yellow purse and killer necklace with some gold and dark colors, to bring some attention up toward the face, with all that leg showing! To finish the look, I added a pair of pretty gold heels. Finally, in case it gets a little cooler in the evening, I thought the long sleeve off-white cardigan would be nice on top, especially left unbuttoned. Overall, I think this outfit is practical, sweet, and has a cheery whimsical air to it, just to make you feel special. :)
